This  animal  is  call  a skink.  A   skink  is  an  animal that  looks  like   a  snake   and  a  lizard  together.My   first   detail  is   that        this   animal   is   8   inches,  but  usually   smaller.My second detail is where it lives, it lives in woodlands, pine forests and areas near and away from water. But really, it is closer to western United States and part of Canada.



Skinks   favorite  foods  is insects such as crickets, beetles, flies and grasshoppers; spiders and earthworms. Snakeish lizards have smooth curved scales. It makes this lizard look shiny. When the skink is young, its tail is a brilliant shade of blue. As the skink gets older, the blue color fades.

Tigers     have      long     teeth.     They    eat      meat.     Tigers    stalk     prey     silently.    The   tiger’s   stripes     help       them      hide.   Tigers      live     in    the    grasslands        and      forest.  Tigers   are    good   swimmers.    Tigers     roar     too!

 Humans and tigers usually do not get along. Hungry   tigers     usually     attack      from    behind   because    many    cats   are    killed for   their    fur.   There   are  more      tigers in  zoos   then    in  the   wild. This is because humans move into the tiger’s home and push them out. We   need     to       save    tigers   because   they   are   part of   nature .
